38"x38" Vector Poster for company Halloween party

Created entirely in Adobe Illustrator for print in large format. After over a decade of daily use, I am an expert in Photoshop and Illustrator; you would be hard-pressed to find something I could not produce within these programs.

Since shifting to the subscription model, it has become even easier to keep up with all the amazing changes Adobe is making, as you are introduced a few at a time via the program launcher with videos and articles detailing new features. Between this and Adobe conferences now being free to attend, it has never been easier to know every corner of this vital design software. I push the Adobe Creative Cloud to its limits, and am always happy to share my knowledge with any who ask.

organized layers

It's a behind-the-scenes detail that the intended audience will never see, but I always organize my layers and files. This way anyone going back to make an edit or borrow previously made elements for a new project, including myself, can easily find both the working files and what they need within them.

I am often inspired by the work of concept artists, and occasionally expand upon concepts that are particularly interesting just for fun. This is a fictional alien species from Mass Effect, copyright EA. They have never been shown with much expression, so I explored what they would look like angry. How their anatomy would function and how inhuman yet recognizable I could make the emotion.

Stylized screen overlay commissions for Twitch.tv channels

Working directly with clients, I created offline and away screen overlays for their Twitch.tv channels. When a copyrighted character was requested, I advised them on the copyright issues that could arrise, regardless of commissioning original artwork, and encouraged those who intended to make a profit with their channel to start their own branding instead.

For this portrait I was given a couple photographic references of the commissioner as well as screenshots of his character's armor. Its intended purpose was as an avatar across his social media platforms, so the silhouette had to be clear and the background simple.

Face concepts for two villains in a popular web series. The characters were only ever shown in full body armor, so from their personalities I developed a portrait of the pair. It was well received by the fans. To the right is a GIF of my coloring process.
